We want to make choosing the right size as straightforward as possible, so it’s important to understand how our size charts are designed.

What our size charts show

Our size charts are based on body measurements, not the measurements of the garment itself.

This means the sizes shown are the recommended body measurements that each size is designed to fit, rather than the physical dimensions of the jacket or garment.

For example, if a size Medium shows a chest range of 97–107cm, this is the body chest measurement the garment is intended for.

Allowance for layering

Our garments are designed with technical use in mind, such as cycling, running and outdoor activities.

Because of this, we allow additional space within the garment to accommodate layering underneath, such as base layers or mid-layers.

This means the garment itself will be slightly larger than the body measurements shown in the size chart, so that it remains comfortable and functional when worn as part of a layered system.

Measurement tolerance

All of our garments are measured by hand, which means there can be small variations.

We allow a tolerance of approximately 2–3cm (around 1 inch) between items. This is standard across apparel manufacturing and does not indicate a fault.

Updates between production batches

We are constantly improving our products, and this can sometimes result in small adjustments to sizing between different production batches.

When changes are made, we aim to update our size charts as quickly as possible to reflect the most accurate guidance.

However, there may occasionally be slight overlaps where stock from different batches is available at the same time.

Providing a few clear images and measurements of the item can help us review this properly. If there is a discrepancy, we will log this with our factory and design teams and advise on the next steps.

Exchanges and returns

If you think you may need a different size, please keep our returns guidelines in mind. 

Items must be returned in a brand new condition, with all original tags attached, and must not have been worn outdoors.

This ensures we are able to process an exchange or return without any issues.
